At one time, smartphone cameras were only used to capture family moments quickly. But now the days have changed. In 2019, the smartphone’s camera has become one of the most important and powerful features of it. People are now starting to take personal photos and also with professional photos and smartphones. Smartphone photography or mobile filmmaking has also become known in the media world.
At present, companies like Samsung, Google and Sony are investing heavily in camera research. Looking back a bit, Huawei responded with their P9 in the mobile photography world. Together with Leica, another legend in the camera world, they gave the P9’s camera another dimension. Since then their camera centric P series has come as a surprise.
This time they have brought their new Surprise P30 Pro. The idea is that this is going to be the best camera phone of 2019 from everywhere. Already breaking all previous records, with the P30 on the DXO Mark Benchmark, they came up with two more short-sung specifications called the P30 and the mid-range P30 Lite. The P30 Pro and P30 Phone are two refreshing flagship grade devices. Although the P30 phone has to sacrifice a few things.
The P30 Pro has four camera sensors on the back of the phone. The first is a 40-megapixel super-spectrum f / 1.6 aperture’s wide-angle lens (OIS), the second is a 20-megapixel f / 2.2 aperture’s ultra-wide lens, the third is an 8-megapixel periscope camera with OIS that allows up to 5 times optical zoom and 50 digital zoom. Can be done. And its fourth camera is a time-of-flight sensor which will do the depth mapping. The 6.47-inch curved OLED display has a waterdrop notch on the phone. Its resolution is Full HD Plus.
It has a 32 megapixel selfie camera attached to it. Huawei’s own chip Kirin 980 is used as the brain of the phone. The chip has two neural processing units that will assist in Artificial Intelligence. It will be available with 8 GB of RAM, storage capacity of up to 128, 256 and 512 GB. If you want, Huawei’s own design can also be used to extend the storage using nano memory.
The IP68 rated phone has Bluetooth 5.0, FourGee, wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, NFC etc. Although there is a Type C port, there is no 3.5mm port. Powering the phone is a 4200 milliampere battery which supports 40 watts supercharger technology.
On the other hand, the Huawei P30 phone is relatively small in size. It has a 6.1-inch display that is not as curved as before and will be available with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage options. Its ultrawide lens resolution has been reduced to 16 megapixels and its periscope camera can be zoomed up to 30 times. Besides, there is no time of flight sensor.
Due to all the cuts, its battery has been reduced to 3650 milliamps. It has 25W supercharger technology but no reverse wireless charging. However, the overhead is getting the headphone jack on the P30, which is not in the Pro version. The P30 phone is IP53 rated.
